Harvey’s was a Monday club. When I signed on the following Thursday I was told off for ‘disfiguring’ my UB40. I told them it was for work and they didn’t believe me, so they took me into an office and stood over me whilst I phoned Kim. That’s how I got my first gig at the Store.
